Jean Peau Earcare
Jean Peau Earcare is great for taking care of your pet’s ears. We have anticipated, as much as possible, to the necessary care of the ear by developing this soft emulsion.
Dogs and cats often resist touching or treating their very sensitive ears. Still, it is necessary to inspect the ears and clean them occasionally. Accumulated dirt and earwax must be removed to prevent infection and existing infections must be treated. The ear canal can become inflamed by, for example, bacteria or fungi. Neglect of inflammation can lead to damage to the eardrum. In this case parts of the inner ear may also get damaged. This can cause pain, balance disorder and even deafness. Therefore, clean the ears of your pets with our Earcare regularly.
It is necessary that a product can penetrate well, that it is sticky enough to absorb dirt and earwax and it is sufficiently concentrated to dissolve clotted ear wax. Our product meets these requirements. Pets protest by shaking their head and auricles to remove the administered product. This is very normal behavior.
However, with floppy eared animals’ inflammation occurs often in case of too little oxygen entering the ear canal. This can be solved by using a few other products besides our Earcare.
We divide ear cleaning into 3 parts:
- Cleaning of the auricle.
- Cleaning of the ear canal.
- Degreasing the ear.
- Cleaning of the auricle.
Take a cloth or cotton pad with a small amount of Earcare and carefully clean the auricle. Wind the cloth around the index finger to remove dirt and excessive earwax. Handle the cotton pad by hand or with tweezers. Unreachable folds can be cleaned with a cotton swab dipped in product.
- Cleaning of the ear canal.
Apply a little Earcare into the ear canal. Gently massage the base of the ear while holding the tip of the ear with the other hand. Clean the ear canal with a cotton swab, preferably in the ear canal to a maximum of half the cotton swab, parallel to the side of the head, so that the eardrum cannot be damaged.
- Degreasing the ear.
Drip some Jean Peau Eyecare in the ear, massage it in for a moment so excess ear wax leaves the ear. Then regrease with some Earcare.
Ear problems? (Inflammation, ear mite, etc.)
Clean the ear canal by dripping some Jean Peau Eyecare into it. By massaging the ear, excess ear wax will leave the ear canal. Repeat if necessary.
Apply some Tea Tree Cream (works disinfectant) in the ear canal and auricle using a cotton swab.
Never place the cotton swab further than the cotton ball into the ear (in the case of small dogs halfway the cotton ball). Repeat 2 to 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days.
